A cultural symbol of Puerto Vallarta, we are an international orchestra made up of more than 40 musicians from over 10 countries. Young adults work side by side with more experienced professional musicians, honing their skills through a series of concerts designed to expose them to more complex works and public performances. This is a program that crosses generations and cultures, bringing out the best in all participants. All proceeds from our performances go directly to fund personalized music lessons.

The Salty Paw Jazz Orchestra is a group that performs music from many eras, from 1940s jazz hits to contemporary pop music in jazz arrangements. Instrumentation includes brass, guitar, bass, piano, woodwinds, and even cello. It’s a group that doesn’t require auditions. Anyone who can read music is welcome to join, from young students to seasoned professionals. Every musician has the opportunity to shine with improvised solos. Rehearsals are weekly year-round, but casual visitors to Puerto Vallarta who only visit during the peak season are welcome to join as well. The SPJO performs in public venues and at fundraising events for IAMPV. Performers not only have the opportunity to play great arrangements but also have fun with other like-minded artists.

Anyone who can read music is welcome to join, from young students to seasoned professionals. Every musician is given a chance to shine with improvised solos. Rehearsals are weekly throughout the year, but part-time visitors to Puerto Vallarta only visiting during high season can play in the band. SPJO performs in public spaces and for IAMPV fundraisers. Performers not only have the opportunity to play great charts but to have fun with other like-minded artists.

A sister organization that invites people around the world to sing, to make the choral experience an essential part of their daily lives. It brings together diverse people with a common goal: to create high-quality music that seeks deep emotion and sincerity in performance.

This project seeks to be a benchmark for choral life in Mexico and around the world. It is made up of choirs of different sizes and levels under the artistic direction of Aquiles Morales. Currently, we are present in four states: Mexico City, the State of Mexico, Jalisco, and Nayarit. We hope to continue expanding.

The Poder Coral choirs are very active thanks to the work and enthusiasm of their members and teachers. They approach choral technique, music theory, music appreciation, and repertoire in creative ways.

We perform at venues such as the National Center for the Arts, the Soumaya Museum, and the National Coordination of Music and Opera, among others, allowing members to experience the full stage experience, from the selection of works, to vocal and musical preparation and the public presentation of the work.
